Nature Trust has been successfully conducting an annual Quiz program targeted at school students ranging from the 6th to the 12th standard. This initiative, now in its third year, has seen participation from over 200 students from various schools each year. The quiz aims to enhance students' knowledge and stimulate a passion for learning across diverse subjects. In recognition of their achievements, the winning school is awarded a rolling trophy in the name of NATURE TRUST, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and academic excellence.

Nature Trust Science Exhibition

Encouraging Innovation and Scientific Inquiry

The Science Exhibition, organized by Nature Trust, invites students from 6th to 12th standards to engage in scientific exploration and present their projects. Each year, nearly 100 budding scientists participate, showcasing their innovative ideas and experiments. Nature Trust honors each participant with a certificate and a medal, acknowledging their efforts and encouraging their interest in science and technology.

Menstrual hygiene:

Woman is the central part of each and every home. When women have sound physical and mental health, she may lead the family in a positive way and she can guide her husband and children towards a healthy society. Lacking of good health, her physical as well as mental health gets weaken and unable to concentrate in building a healthy family. Based on this, NATURE TRUST conducts Women health program, menstrual health and hygiene program, in various girls schools and women colleges and general public.

Sanitary Napkin Manufacturing Training

In an effort to promote menstrual hygiene and self-sufficiency among women, Nature Trust also offers training programs on the making of reusable cotton cloth sanitary napkins. These workshops are open to the general public, including women college students, schoolgirls, and even children with special needs, ensuring that a wide array of participants has access to this essential knowledge.

The training not only teaches the participants how to make sanitary napkins but also educates them on menstrual health, breaking taboos and fostering a culture of openness and awareness. By empowering women and girls to produce their own sanitary products, Nature Trust is contributing to the reduction of menstrual hygiene-related disparities and encouraging environmental sustainability through the use of reusable materials.

"Manja Pai" Campaign

Aligning with the campaign of Tamil Nadu state, Nature Trust has adopted the initiative named “manja pai” (yellow bag) to encourage the use of cloth bags. This campaign is an essential part of the Trust's activities, with cloth bags being distributed to school children, members of women's SHGs, and the general public. By doing so, Nature Trust supports the statewide movement to reduce plastic waste and advocates for a switch to more sustainable lifestyle practices.
