“We pray the eternal to expand our services towards people with disabilities, Elders, Women, Children, and the less fortunate those who are in every nook and corner of this universe.” – Founder
The inspiration for our voluntary organization came from the birth of a differently-abled child, driving us to serve the disabled community. This commitment led to Doctoral Researchinvolving 203 parents of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) in the Trichy District.
This academic study, which focused on parenting stress, family resilience, mental health, and quality of life among CP parents, was an eye-opener. The findings revealed that the majority of these parents experienced low quality of life, poor mental health, low family resilience, and high parenting stress.
Since then, we have actively mitigated psychological and physical worries for hundreds of families by conducting numerous Drama Therapy workshops for children and teachers, alongside specialized counseling and awareness programs for parents in various special schools.
To construct a truly solid and healthy society, Nature Trust has expanded its focus to five core areas: Disability Welfare, Elderly Support, Women’s Health and Empowerment, Sustainable Livelihoods through Organic Farming, and Quality Education integrated with Traditional Lifestyle Practices. These focus areas directly contribute to building a healthy and intellectually rich society.
